What is Earth Day?
This ancient festival is linked to the Feast of the Holy Cross, commissioned by the monk Gratian at the time of the Crusades. On this occasion, cane crosses are made garnished with the olive tree blessed on Palm Sunday and lilies. These crosses are blessed during mass in the church of Our Lady of Graces and then distributed to farmers who put them in the fields to protect their crops. Since 2016, the Municipal Administration has supported the religious event with initiatives on biodiversity issues. 5 p.m. Meeting on the routes of Emigration from Parrano to other cities and nations with Massimiliano Presciutti, Eraldo Fedeli, Fausto Galanello, Anna Schippa
