The Feast of Sant’Abbondio in Allerona
Although the liturgical calendar places the feast of Sant’Abbondio on August 31st, in Allerona it is actually celebrated on the last Sunday of August. On this occasion, after mass, the religious procession with the relic of the saint takes place along the road that leads to the Church, accompanied by the local band. Afterwards, the festival continues with traditional biscuits, music and popular games.

Allerona is easily accessible by car. It is located near the A1 motorway, for those coming from the south the recommended exit is Orvieto, 20 kilometers from Allerona. For those coming from the North, the recommended exit is Fabro.
