The feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Sorrows, the main solemnity of Allerona Scalo, is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of September. Characteristic is the solemn procession, animated by songs, hymns and prayers, which parades through the streets of the town, and acquires a harmonious appearance, with the sounds of the band, and suggestive with the arrangement of numerous torches and lights along the entire route. The last day is dedicated to tradition with shows for children, biscuits and popular games in which the inhabitants of the various districts compete.

Allerona is easily accessible by car. It is located near the A1 motorway, for those coming from the south the recommended exit is Orvieto, 20 kilometers from Allerona. For those coming from the North, the recommended exit is Fabro.
