The absolute protagonist of the festival is the wild asparagus of the forest collected in the local countryside.
During the festival held every year in Pietrafitta, in the Municipality of Piegaro, it is possible to taste this typical product of the area declined in different dishes, prepared by the skilled hands of the local cooks.
During the festival, participants can find food stands with typical local products and tasty asparagus-based dishes, as well as musical events to accompany the evening.
During the festival, visitors will be able to discover the local area through guided tours and visits to the Luigi Boldrini Paleontological Museum.

How to get there
By car: - From the north: Motorway A1 exit Bettole, proceed in the direction of Castiglione del Lago and then in the direction of Piegaro - From the south: Motorway A1 exit Fabro proceed in the direction of Chiusi and then in the direction of Piegaro By train: The nearest stations to Piegaro are Chiusi (SI) and Terontola - Cortona (PG) both about 10 – 15 minutes away. From the stations it is necessary to take a taxi. By plane: The nearest airport to Piegaro is Perugia's San Francesco Airport. From here you can rent a car. The time to reach the village is about an hour.
