Something about the Medieval Festival
The most important event that is organized by the Municipality together with the associations during the year is a medieval re-enactment that normally takes place in summer. Parrano is a town with medieval features. Since it was built on a ridge after 1600, it could no longer be built. In the transition from the Bulgarelli to the Marescotti, the town had a significant development and substantially took on its current appearance. The main event of the TOURISM OF THE ROOTS promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be held in Parrano. The event will have moments of debate, a photographic exhibition that will have as its theme the article written in 1961 by Gaio Fratini entitled WHY THEY GO and a commemorative event called A DIVE INTO THE MIDDLE AGES. On Friday, May 24 at 10 a.m., the photographic exhibition entitled WHY THEY GO will be opened at the former clinic in via xx settembre.at 5 p.m. there will be the presentation of the rhyming memorial by Paolo Ciofi, «Rio destino ingrato, anche quì m’ai la zappa ridonato» , An Italian from Parrano in Brazil with Vittorio Tarparelli, Lorenzo Gianfelice , ARULEF President, Rodolfo Ricci Filef, Anna Schippa
