What is the Water Festival?
On the night before June 24, St. John’s Day, tradition has it that the Saint visits all the houses and blesses the basins of perfumed water with all the flowers of spring. People wash themselves with this holy water in the morning. This tradition is still very present and widespread in Parrano.
